Biography: Gabriela Sabatini is an Argentine former professional tennis player. She was one of the leading players on the women's circuit in the late-1980s and early-1990s.

Born in Buenos Aires, Sabatini first came to prominence as a fourteen-year-old when she won the Girls' Singles event at the 1984 French Open. She went on to win the Women's Singles title at the US Open in 1990, defeating German player Steffi Graf in the final.

During her career, Sabatini won 27 singles titles and reached the final of the Women's Singles event at Wimbledon in 1991. She also won the Women's Doubles at Wimbledon with Steffi Graf.

Sabatini retired from professional tennis in 1996, aged 26.
